| Prior to breeding the Parents of our pups are OFA tested for hip dysplasia, CERF examined for genetic eye problems. Sire & Dam are either DNA vWD tested or Clear by parentage. With this said, Our pups are guaranteed for all the inherited genetics defects mentioned above. All of our pups are placed to approved homes only, We will evaluate and pick the best puppy for your home, Our pet puppies are released with a Limited AKC Registration and a Contract Agreement to Spay or Neuter. Prospective show quality puppies are evaluated at 12wks of age. Evaluators are reputable and experienced PWC long time owners and breeders They are members of the parent club PWCCA and the regional club CPWCC Our prospective show quality pups are available only on co-ownership. |
| Our puppies are born and raised in a comfortable room in the house and gets human interaction constantly, Their socialization starts from the moment they are born, We talk to them, handle them frequently and stimulated either by tickling their toes or by gently rubbing their head, back, tummy and nose. When the puppies are at least 3-4 wks old, we relocate their puppy pen in the busiest spot of the house, this enables the pups to get introduced and interact with daily human environment , as well as hear sounds and noises, interact with other pets and get used to daily routines of life which will enable them to adjust properly and easily when they move into their new home. |
| We give our puppies lots of attention and lots of toys which are perfect stimulants to their developing brain, Safe toys are perfect tools and teaches them to learn to be creative and innovative which will make them a more interactive and happy adult corgis. We Hoomans are not the only ones allowed to socialize with our pups, Mr. Chester cat, Cookie the Goldie and our Corgi family are allowed to interact and play with our pups too . This teaches them early socialization with their fellow furry friends. We try to begin the housebreaking process as early as 7 weeks, but like people, each has it's own mind and personality, can't have one to do what the other did. Consistency in training is the best way to achieve a FULLY HOUSEBROKEN Pup. DO NOT Punish them if they made an accident A puppy usually eliminates after he eats and after his nap. Younger than 16wks pups. need to be taken out for potty every 4 - 6 hrs. A stern NO for caught in the act accidents is enough to startle them, then take them out to finish their business. |
